Last Sunday, an "unexpected" stand appeared in one of the squares of Turin where migrants usually hang out: the stand of "Lo sapevi che?” ("Did you know that?"), a project funded by the European Union to inform migrants on their rights in the labour market. Project Greenback 2.0, in collaboration with “Lo sapevi che?”, was there to provide information about financial services and remittances. A public conference was also organized on Tuesday, June 30, to present the results of “Lo sapevi che?”. The Project Greenback 2.0 team was invited to talk about the importance of remittances and financial inclusion of migrants.

Un inaspettato banchetto ha presidiato domenica scorsa una delle piazzette di Torino più frequentate dai migranti: il banchetto del progetto “Lo sapevi che?”, finanziato dall’Unione Europea, per la formazione e informazione sui diritti dei migranti nel mercato del lavoro. Anche il Progetto Greenback 2.0, in collaborazione con “Lo sapevi che?”, è stato presente in piazza per fornire informazioni su servizi finanziari e di invio di denaro. Martedì 30 giugno è stata organizzata una conferenza pubblica per presentare i risultati del progetto “Lo sapevi che?”. Il team del Progetto Greenback 2.0 è intervenuto per spiegare l’importanza delle rimesse e dell’inclusione finanziaria dei migranti.
